Chhaya Aggarwal, MBBS

Dr. Aggarwal Gupta received her medical degree from Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi, India, and completed her residency in internal medicine at Washington Hospital Center/Georgetown University Hospital. Dr. Aggarwal Gupta also completed a fellowship in cardiology at University of Arkansas and a fellowship in advanced heart failure and cardiac transplantation at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. She is a heart failure/transplant attending physician and Associate Program Director of the Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology Fellowship Program at Westchester Medical Center. She is also an Assistant Professor at New York Medical College, the academic affiliate of Westchester Medical Center.

She has a keen interest in cardiac transplant immunology and immunomodulation prior to/post heart transplant surgery. She is a member of the Heart Failure Society of America and the International Society of Heart and Lung Transplant. She was awarded Rising Star "40 under 40" Award by Business Council of Westchester in 2019.

Dr. Aggarwal Gupta is board certified in Cardiology and Advanced Heart Failure and is a Fellow of the ACC.
