Biography

Dr. Jennifer McLevy-Bazzanella, MD, serves as Chief of the Division of Pediatric Otolaryngology, Program Director of Otolaryngology, and Vice-Chair of Education, Otolaryngology. Dr. McLevy specializes in the care of children with complex ear, nose, and throat conditions, with particular clinical interests in aerodigestive disorders, microtia and salivary gland diseases.


Dr. McLevy earned her medical degree from New York Medical College and completed internship training at Boston Medical Center. Dr. McLevy went on to complete residency training in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at the University of California, Davis, followed by a fellowship in Pediatric Otolaryngology at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. She is sub-certified in Complex Pediatric Otolaryngology.

Actively engaged in academic medicine, Dr. McLevy is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery and the American Society of Pediatric Otolaryngology. Dr. McLevy has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and book chapters and regularly presents at national conferences. In recognition of her dedication to education, Dr. McLevy received the Resident Teaching Award from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in 2022.
