Biography

Dr. Dylan Stewart is the Chief of the Section of Pediatric Surgery, and Associate Professor of Surgery and Pediatrics at New York Medical College. He attended the University of Michigan for his undergraduate and medical school training, and then completed General Surgery residency at the University of Maryland/Shock Trauma Institute. His completed his fellowship in Pediatric Surgery at the Johns Hopkins Children's Center, where he remained as faculty until 2019 when his family moved to Westchester.

Dr. Stewart has served as a Pediatric Trauma Medical Director for over fifteen years, and is proud to guide the Level One Pediatric Trauma center at Maria Fareri Children's Hospital. He also has strong clinical interests in Chest Wall Reconstruction for Pectus, minimally invasive surgery for infants and children, surgery for inflammatory bowel disease, and surgery for neonates with congenital anomalies.
