Kathryn L. Martin, MD

Kathryn Martin, MD, FRCSC, FACS, is an attending pediatric surgeon at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital at Westchester Medical Center and an Associate Professor of Surgery and Pediatrics at New York Medical College. She is board certified in both pediatric and adult general surgery. Her pediatric surgery practice encompasses all areas of pediatric surgery and trauma, with a particular interest in the surgical neonate. Dr. Martin completed medical school and general surgery residency at the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry at the University of Western Ontario in 2013. She completed her fellowship in pediatric surgery at the University of Ottawa in 2015. She holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Surgical Health Care Research from McGill University and a Masters of Public Health from UC Berkeley. Her current research activities are focused on pediatric trauma, pediatric appendicitis, and improving communication in medicine.
