Biography
Monica Chow, MD, FAAP, is a board-certified attending pediatric surgeon at Maria Fareri Children's Hospital at Westchester Medical Center. She has a broad interest in all areas of pediatric surgery, with a special interest in colorectal conditions and robotic surgery. Some other conditions that she treats includes, but is not limited to, appendicitis, gallbladder disease, chest wall deformities (pectus excavatum and carinatum), hernias, lung malformations, thoracic and abdominal masses, and skin and soft tissue masses.
She received her medical degree at UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. She completed her general surgery training at Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. She continued her training in pediatric surgery, completing her fellowship at Nicklaus Children's Hospital. She feels it is truly a privilege to work in pediatric surgery and aims to provide excellent care to all her patients.
