Shaun C. Desai, MD

Dr. Shaun Desai currently serves as Professor and Chair (Director) of the Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at Westchester Medical Center/ New York Medical College. Previously, Dr. Desai was an Associate Professor at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore for over a decade before moving back home to New York. As a Facial Plastic and Reconstructive surgeon his practice focuses on all aspects of reconstructive, congenital, and cosmetic plastic surgery of the face, head, scalp and neck. Reconstructive procedures include microvascular reconstruction after head and neck cancer, facial paralysis treatment, reconstruction of the face after Mohs Skin Cancer surgery, facial trauma. He is an expert at cosmetic and reconstructive rhinoplasty/septoplasty and revision rhinoplasty, as well as facelifting and blepharoplasty. He is also a member of the Cleft Craniofacial Clinic at Maria Fareri's Children's hospital and performs cleft lip and palate surgery.
