Madhavan Elangovan, MD

Dr. Elangovan is from Albany, New York and completed training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and subspecialty training in Sports Medicine and Interventional Spine at the Hospital for Special Surgery, where he provided medical sideline coverage for St. John's University, Long Island Nets, NY Red Bulls II and The Juilliard School. He has clinical interests in comprehensive musculoskeletal care, including joint and tendon sheath injections, regenerative medicine treatment options, and interventional spine procedures for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. As an avid volleyball player, he also has a special interest in treating musculoskeletal injuries in overhead athletes.
