Biography

Dr. Hirsch was the first interventional cardiologist in Rockland County and has been practicing for over 30 years. He spearheads a number of clinical trials at Good Samaritan Hospital's Active International Cardiovascular Institute - participating in more than thirty five to date. These trials are critical drivers in today's evidence-based medicine, helping researchers test and identify validated medical advances.

Dr. Hirsch is a sought after speaker in the field of innovations in the treatment of cardiovascular disease and has been published in a number of prestigious medical journals, including the Journal of the American College of Cardiology and the Journal of Clinical Investigations. He is the founder of Metropolitan Cardiology Consultants, 1998.
